How To Download VTU Degree Certificate?

To download your VTU Degree Certificate, please follow the procedure outlined below.

STEP 1 : If you are already using the DigiLocker app, you can skip to step 2 .

If not, download the DigiLocker app from the Play Store or App Store using the link below and create a DigiLocker account using your Aadhaar details.

STEP 2 : Log in to the DigiLocker app and click on the search icon on the home page.

STEP 3 : Under the “Categories” section, click on the “ Education & Learning ” option.

STEP 4 : Click on the search icon at the top right corner, then search for the keyword “ Visvesvaraya .”

Click on the VTU logo in the search results.

STEP 5 : Select the type of degree certificate you wish to download.

• For the original digital copy of the degree certificate, select the first option. (For all students under VTU, including autonomous colleges).
• For the provisional degree certificate, select the second option. (Only for students of VTU constituent & affiliated colleges).

STEP 6 : Your name and date of birth will be automatically fetched from your Aadhaar details. Make sure that the name and DOB match in both your Aadhaar and VTU degree certificate. otherwise, the certificate will not be issued in DigiLocker. If your name is not the same, kindly make changes in your Aadhaar.

Enter your USN , select the passed-out year , and click on the “ Get Document ” button.

STEP 7 : Now, click on the “ Issued ” tab on the home page and find your degree certificate and Click on it to view your certificate.

STEP 8 : Click on the download icon to save it to your device.

VTU Provisional Degree Certificate (Download Now) 2 Methods!

Students of Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) who have completed any type of undergraduate (UG) or postgraduate (PG) courses can now download their VTU Provisional Degree Certificate either through VTU’s Electronic Document Delivery and Tracking System (EDDTS) portal or through the DigiLocker app.

You can download your VTU Provisional Degree Certificate using two methods, one through the EDDTS portal and the other through the DigiLocker app.

What is a VTU Provisional Degree Certificate?

A VTU (Visvesvaraya Technological University) provisional degree certificate is an official document issued by the university to students who have successfully completed their degree programs. This certificate serves as temporary proof of graduation until the official degree certificate is issued during the convocation. It includes details such as the student’s name, USN, program, and the date of completion of the degree. Method 1: VTU Provisional Degree Certificate Download Through EDDTS Portal

STEP 1 : To download your VTU Provisional Degree Certificate, first visit eddts.vtu.ac.in , enter your USN and Password, and click the LOGIN button.

STEP 2 : Click on the hamburger menu (three horizontal lines) and select the SUBMITTED APPLICATIONS option.

STEP 3 : You will see a list of all the documents you have applied for through the EDDTS portal. Locate the VTU PROVISIONAL DEGREE CERTIFICATE document and click on the corresponding download button.

Method 2: VTU Provisional Degree Certificate Download Through DigiLocker App

In this method, students of Visvesvaraya Technological University can download the VTU provisional degree certificate even if they have not applied for the certificate, free of charge, by following the steps below.

STEP 1 : If you are an existing DigiLocker app user, proceed to Step 2. If not, download the DigiLocker app from the Play Store or App Store and create a user account using your Aadhaar details.

STEP 2 : After creating a user account, log in to the DigiLocker mobile app and click on the search icon located on the home page.

STEP 3 : Under the “Categories” menu section, select the “Education & Learning” option.

STEP 4 : Using the search icon at the top right corner, search for the keyword “Visvesvaraya” and click on the VTU logo in the search results.

STEP 5 : Choose the second option (i.e., Provisional degree certificate).

STEP 6 : Your name as per your Aadhaar, will be automatically retrieved. Ensure these details match those on your VTU provisional degree certificate. If not, update your name on Aadhaar accordingly. Enter your USN (University Seat Number), select the passed-out year, and click on “Get Document”.

STEP 7 : Go to the “Issued” tab located on the home page to find and view your provisional degree certificate.

VTU offers B.Tech, B.Tech (Lateral) , B.Plan & B.Arch courses at the UG curriculum in 37 disciplines. The B.Tech, B.Plan & B.Arch courses are offered for the duration of 4 & 5 years respectively & B.Tech (Lateral) courses take 3 years to complete. All the courses are offered in regular, campus-based, full-time mode. The eligibility criteria that the institute requires is to complete a 10+2 with PCM and 45% marks in aggregate from a recognized board. Selection will be done based on JEE Main or KCET cutoff percentages for a B.Tech program & the selection of B.Arch and B.Plan students need to meet the cut-off percentile of NATA .

• To be selected for a B.Tech program students need to obtain a valid score in JEE Main/ COMEDK-UGET/  KCET . Candidates need to exceed or match the cutoff percentile demanded by the university. 
• For getting selected to B.Arch or B. Plan program students should secure a qualified score in NATA.

VTU offers courses at PG domain in the areas of Management, Architecture, Engineering & Computer Application. The courses that are offered in the postgraduate curriculum are MBA, M.Tech , MCA, and M.Arch. The duration of the courses is 2 years except for MCA which takes 3 years to complete. All the courses are offered in full-time, campus-based, regular mode. M.Tech courses are offered in 96 specializations. For M.Tech or M.Arch courses students are required to complete B.E or B.Arch in the concerned subjects with 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized board. For MBA or MCA courses, candidates need to pass their Bachelor’s degree with 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized board. Selection will be done based on the entrance exam score. Students need to appear in entrance tests like PGCET , GATE, CAT, MAT, KMAT, XAT, etc.

VTU M.Tech/ M.Arch/ MBA/ MCA Eligibility Criteria

• To get selected for an M.Tech or M.Arch course students need to appear in the GATE/ PGCET entrance exam and must obtain a qualified score that exceeds the cutoff percentile asked by the university. 
• To be selected for an MBA course at VTU, applicants must have given KMAT / CAT/ MAT/ XAT and secured a valid score which must meet the cutoff percentage of the institute. 
• For the selection of an MCA course, candidates must secure a qualified score in PGCET.

VTU offers Doctoral courses in numerous specializations for 3 years, in full-time, campus-based, regular mode. To be eligible for a PhD program, students must secure 55% marks in the postgraduate program. Selection is done by the VTU Eligibility Test for Research. 

VTU Ph.D. Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for a Ph.D. course at VTU, applicants need to score at least 55% aggregate at their Master’s degree in the concerned subject from a recognized university.

VTU Ph.D. Selection Criteria

VTU, itself conducts an aptitude test for the research-based program & students need to go through this entrance test and score valid marks for the selection. 

VTU offers UG programs such as B.Tech, B.Plan, and B.Arch. and PG courses like M.Tech, M.Arch, MBA, and MCA. The admissions process varies based on the type of course and level of study. VTU admissions are primarily conducted online.

For VTU Undergraduate admission students have to meet certain criteria. The eligibility for B.Tech is the completion of 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) with a minimum of 45% aggregate marks (40% for SC/ST/OBC).

B.Tech selection will be based on JEE Main or KCET scores. For B.Arch and B.Plan candidates must meet the NATA cutoff. 

VTU PG applicants should have a bachelor's degree in the relevant field. Selection for PG will be based on national-level entrance exams such as GATE, KMAT, NATA, PGCET, MAT, or CAT. A sufficient score in GATE is essential for M.Tech admissions.

For VTU Ph.D. admission, interested candidates should have a Master's degree in the related subject with 55% aggregate marks. To be eligible for research, candidates must appear for the VTU Research Eligibility Test (VTU-RET).

People typically enter through KCET, COMEDK. They also accept JEE Mains rank. Admission process was quick and straighforward. I chose this college because of its location and closeness to the highway. It has decent placements, good faculty.

A Journey of learning and growth

• I like about my college is the campus. It has everything from cricket ground to basketball ball ground.
• The lectures and the staffs here are so friendly and they create supportive classroom atmosphere.
• The first thing i dislike is the canteen food.like there’s a need for improvement.
• As for placements a lot of companies visit us but students need some placement training iim order to get placed for a good company

I had applied to colleges like don bosco, BMS , RNSIT and so on but i chose this college due to faculty expertise and the facilities. Also the campuses environment and the balance of academics and extracurricular activities played a major role in my decision. When compared to other colleges the course curriculum here was more aligned with industry trends and ensured skill development.The facilities like labs , libraries are advanved.The college's placement record is good and had ties with good companies. While i did apply to other prestigious colleges i didn't secure admission in some due to the cutoff of those colleges.The admission process was smooth and easier . College accepts admission through exams like kcet and comed K for engineering and as for diploma students through d cet . The cutoff for ECE is 66000 rank and the most preferred exam from majority of students is kcet.and the admission process doesn't include any interviews. Students can also get admissions through management

Good choice

• The campus view is aesthetic and beautiful.
• Teaching is good and hosts many bot events.

For me this college is near my home and can reach within 40 minutes. My brother also suggested me this college where he completed his engineering degree . I got this college through cet where this college cutoff is less .

I did not apply any other college because my CET ranking wasn't that great and I wanted only CSE course This college proved me CSE course,that's why I chose this college. No,only if I had applied in other college to reject me. The process of applying to this college is through KCET which is an exam conducted by the KEA,Karnataka Examination Authority.

• The curriculum of the studies and the courses which is beneficial for all the students.
• The extracurricular activities like sports and intercollege participation
• The attendance issue of 75% and the less number building in the campus area

I have applied for Bhartiya vidyapeeth University which was situated in Pune before but due to some circumstances I had drop my plan. And yes of course I did get rejection from many colleges like birla and iit because the high cutoffs The admission process in my college is pretty simple as just you need your school stuffs and certificate .

• The campus is huge so you have to walk all the way through departments
• Some faculties from some departments are not good

The exams are not so difficult, most of the time the toughness of the exam depends on the faculty preparing the question paper. So students need to study for the exam which will be easy to medium in difficulty wise

The Golden Life at DSATM!

• The college environment is very peaceful with full green gardens and its surronded with mountains and less traffic makes it truely beautiful.
• The students are also very decent and its a middle class friendly college , not that Posch , people who are actually good at grades are provided as your friends so its a extra point.
• The 1st two years of college you have attend classes till 3 pm thats a bit hard .

so selection of the college in karntaka happens through the KCET exams and other major exams like COMEDK, JEE etc. i was admitted through KCET based on my rank and category i was eligible for CSE course. KCET lets you choose 3 colleges as options so i took DSATM(my college), Jyothi college(JIT),DSE college all threee were near by home. and all three has good education policy i luckily was able to get seats in all three i had to choose one , i choose DSATM because the college has good placemnets and also travel facilities were available. comapre to other colleges this college is a bit student frirndly , good culturals , and tech clubs are excellent.

Provisional degree certificate overview .

A provisional degree certificate is a document issued by a university before a permanent degree is issued and conferred during convocation. In general, it remains a valid certificate for around 6 months or until the student receives a degree. It has no set expiration date. The Provisional Certificate, however, will no longer be valid after the degree is given by the institute. It is primarily issued as a temporary replacement for the degree, and this certificate serves as documentation that the degree has not yet been awarded.

Provisional Degree Certificate Meaning 

Provisional Certificates are issued to students who have qualified for the University or Board Examination on the basis of their original certificates, and they confirm that students have completed the education stipulated in the certificate. After a convocation, several institutions distribute the original certificates. A provisional degree certificate is issued until the actual certificate is received. The provisional degree certificate is also taken into account by organizations or corporations when employing people for jobs. 

For Example-   If a student wishes to pursue further education, institutions will recognize this certificate. 

The provisional certificate becomes invalid whenever the applicable institution or college grants the original degree. It has not expired as of yet. It is commonly used while applying for higher education or a job-

• It includes the student's name and the course taken.
• It is only transitory.

The provisional degree includes information such as the student's name, the name of the course from which he or she graduated, the division obtained while completing the degree, and so on.

Use of a Provisional Degree Certificate 

The following are the uses of a provisional certificate-

• It serves as an affirmation or confirmation that the degree has not yet been conferred.
• This accreditation is useful when understudies pursue additional schooling or employment as their talents communicate a fundamental position.
• It serves as documentation that the understudy has completed the teaching of that specific college.
• The provisional degree includes details such as the student's name, the course from which he or she graduated, the grade earned while completing the degree, and so on.
• However, this should be assured just after one has been working for more than two years.
• Please keep in mind that the certifications are just temporary.
• However, even if one shows this certificate, one will have graduated.
• While certifications are vital, the quality of education should be prioritized.
• Certificates simply serve to certify a talent that you already possess.

Procedure to apply for Provisional Degree Certificate

Students who require a provisional certificate may apply online. Students are urged to follow the steps below when applying for a digital provisional certificate-

• Register and complete the online form accessible on the DU website's examination portal.
• Upload a soft copy of the photo and scanned signature.
• Upload a soft copy of the mark sheet.
• Deposit a non-refundable charge of 500/- per copy online at the payment gateway for the issue of a provisional certificate.
• After completing the online process and paying the specified charge, the candidate will obtain an acknowledgment receipt and a receipt number.
• It signifies that the candidate's request for the granting of a provisional certificate has been provisionally accepted subject to verification.
• In the event that you do not get the acknowledgment, please submit a copy of the completed online application, fee receipt, and all uploaded documents to [email protected].
• A provisional certificate will be provided within ten days of the documents being verified.
• Students should have all of their information ready before filling out the online form, especially their University Enrolment Number. 
• Department, College, and Centre Students should get in touch with their relevant college, department, and center.

How to apply online for Provisional Degree Certificate?

Steps to follow-.

• Click the link for an online application for a provisional certificate.
• After entering the roll number, an OTP will be registered on the given mobile number and email address. 
• Enter the OTP to log in and complete all essential fields, as well as upload the scanned copies of documents.
• Fill out the Result Verification Excel file, save it as a PDF, and upload it.
• Make a duplicate of the grade cards from the first to last semester. (Tabulation is only acceptable in the last semester.)
• Scan a copy of the signed promise for No-Dues (format accessible on the following page).

Payment Details-

• Fee payment via payment gateway:   Rs. 1500/- for Degree Certificate.
• Receipt:   Save the receipt and show it to the inspection cell for signing (if needed). Keep it for future reference.

Provisional Degree Certificate Distribution-

You will receive a scanned copy of the signed Provisional Degree Certificate at the registered email address within 15 business days. When the institute reopens, the candidate can pick up a hard copy from the test cell.

• Until the final degree arrives, the certificate is essential. 
• It can be used for future opportunities such as employment or higher education.

As per recent VTU notification, the VTU Convocation 2023 will be held on 24th February 2023 in two sessions. In the first session Degree will be awarded to all the Gold Medalists and First Rank Holders in the Under Graduate and Post Graduate Programmes of the academic year 2021-2022. And in the second session, Ph.D Degree certificates will be issued for the academic year 2021-22.

Below are the details :

Instructions to Candidates

• You must enter the Auditorium only as per the applicable session.
• Dress code: White dress as mentioned in the University website
• Ensure that you report to the auditorium atleast half an hour before the convocation program.
• COVID-19 protocols must be followed.
• Ensure that you give a standing ovation when the Ho'ble Governor of Karnataka, the chacellor and the other dignitaries enter the hall.
• You must maintain silence and discipline throught the function.
• Ensure that you switch off your mobile phone in the premises.
• You must not leave the hall until th dignitaries leave the hall.
• Ensure that you follow the instructions issued by the Registrar (Evaluation) regarding registration and convocation.

VTU Convocation 2022 Application Form Submission

As per recent notification, VTU announced 22nd Convocation 2022 application form submission date. The final semester students of UG and PG courses may submit their convocation application forms online from 22nd June 2022 along with the fees. The 22nd annual Convocation date will be announced later.

Instructions to students for submission of Convocation forms

1.PG and UG students appearing for final semester exam may submit their application form for the 22nd VTU convocation.

2. You may use the credentials used to submit your exam application form for the submission of convocation form.

3. You may submit your convocation application form online via link https://convocation.vtu.ac.in

4. You must finalize your convocation application form and pay the fees of Rs 800  for Indian National and $200 for Foreign National. The convocation fees is the same for Constituent and affiliated engineering college.

5. Once you finalize your application form and pay the fees, your department or college will approve the same.

Instructions to First Rank Holders and Gold Medalists

First rank holders and gold medalist must follow the below instructions during vtu convocation 2021., participation in vtu convocation 2021:.

1. If you want to participate in the Convocation, you must send 2 stamp size photos attested by your principal so that your ID cards will be ready at the registration desk.

Online Registration

1.You must register online for confirming your participation. Register at https://convocation.vtu.ac.in

2.Online Registration is open from 30th March 2021 to 1st April 2021.

3.You must bring a printout of the Registration slip and a photo identity proof to enter the VTU campus during Convocation.

Entry to VTU Campus

1.You will not be allowed for the VTU Convocation if you have any symptoms like fever/cold/cough. 2.You must submit a Covid-19 negative Certificate (RT-PCR) of the test conducted less than 72 hours before the date and time of convocation. 3.If you are coming by vehicle, the driver must possess a Covid-19 negative certificate, and he should not move out of the vehicle. 4.For Gold medalists and Prize Winners, the reporting time is 9.00 am, and 10.00 am. 5.If you are a recipient of a Gold medal or prize winner, you can attend the convocation only if you confirm your participation by registering online. 6.Dress code for Male: White Formal Trouser and White shirt   Dress code for Female: White Saree with any colour border or White formal dress. 7.You must bring a photo identity card. 8.VTU will allow only one parent with gold medalists and prize winners. And the parent must submit a Covid-19 negative Certificate (RT-PCR) of the test conducted less than 72 hours before the date and time of convocation. 9.Parents accompanying the gold medalists and prize winners must follow SOPs and sit at the assigned place.

10.Only breakfast and lunch is provided to the participants. VTU will not provide any other facility.

Offline Registration and collection of Stole

1.You must enrol yourself immediately for the convocation after entering the campus at specified counters.

2.If you are a degree recipient, you can have breakfast at the food court assigned for you.

3.You must deposit a refundable security deposit of Rs 1000 at the assigned area and collect the stole.

VTU Degree Certificate for Others

You can collect your degree certificates from the VTU Registrar (Evaluation) on 4th April 2021. It applies to all the students other than gold medalists and first rank holders.

The degree awardees must follow the below instructions.

1.    You must register online

2.    Visit https://convocation.vtu.ac.in to register online.

3.    Ensure that you only enter your guide name while registering. Do not enter Dr. /Prof./Shri./Smt.

4.    You can register online from 26th Mar 2021. The last date to register is 3rd April 2021 up to 10 am.

5.    Bring a printout of the registration slip and Photo Identity to enter VTU Campus.

Entry to the Campus

1.You will not be allowed for the VTU Convocation if you have any symptoms like fever/cold/cough. 2.You must submit a Covid-19 negative Certificate (RT-PCR) of the test conducted less than 72 hours before the date and time of convocation. 3.If you are coming by vehicle, the driver must possess a Covid-19 negative certificate, and he should not move out of the vehicle. 4.For a recipient of Integrated Dual Degree, Ph. D and M.Sc. Occupying assigned chairs outside the Auditorium

1.Due to a large number of Awardees, VTU has made temporary seating arrangements outside the Auditorium to maintain social distancing.

2.You must occupy your assigned chairs outside the auditorium.

3.VTU will allow entry to the auditorium in a staggered manner to adhere to the Covid – 19 restrictions. So, students must maintain discipline.

4.Groupings is done as per the SOPs issued from the Government.

5.To enter the convocation premises, you must follow the instructions given from time to time.

6.You must ensure that you are present at the assigned area outside the auditorium before 3 pm.

The University will take 7. Punishment or disciplinary action against any breach of protocol.

8.You may proceed to the convocation premises as per the instructions given from time to time.

Occupying assigned Chairs in the Auditorium and Receiving the degree

1.You must occupy the assigned chairs only.

2.Inside the auditorium, photography, cross talks, movements, and loitering is not allowed.

3.You must maintain the highest discipline and silence in the convocation premises.

4.Also, wear Mask, maintain Social Distance and follow COVID-19 SOPs.

5.You must ensure that you switch off your mobile phones in the Convocation premises.

6.During the convocation ceremony, you must follow the instructions given from time to time.

After receiving the degree from the dignitaries, you must proceed out of the convocation premises immediately through the exit adjacent to the stage.

The Twentieth Annual Convocation of VTU is scheduled to be held on Saturday, the 3rd April 2021, at 12-00 noon, in the Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Auditorium of VTU, "Jnana Sangama ", Belagavi. The awardees of degree are hereby cordially invited to attend the Convocation. The VTU Convocation Certificates for the year 2019-20 will be distributed in 2 sessions.

Please note that as the COVID-19 pandemic SOPs are to be followed, the Convocation Ceremony will be held in two sessions, as mentioned below:

VTU Convocation Certificate 2021 Session Details

First Session: 12-00 noon to 1-20 p.m.

Degree Awarding Ceremony

The degree will be awarded to all the Gold Medalists and First Rank Holders in the Under Graduate and Post Graduate Programmes of the academic year 2019-2020.

Second Session: 4-00 p.m. to 5-30 p.m.

PhD will be awarded to the eligible candidates of the academic year 2019-2020.

VTU Convocation 2021: Important points to note for candidates

All the candidates are required to note the following:

The candidates shall :

• Enter the Auditorium only as per their applicable session as mentioned above.

• Be present in the Auditorium with neat white dress as mentioned in the University Website

• Occupy the seats in the Auditorium at least half an hour earlier to the commencement of Convocation function

• Wear Mask, maintain social distance and follow the SOPs prescribed.

• Candidates having any symptoms of fever/ cold/ cough, are advised not the attend the Convocation Ceremony.

• Follow the instructions issued by the Registrar(Evaluation) regarding Registration and other details of Convocation.

Other candidates, who wish to collect the Degree Certificates personally, can collect the same from the Office of the Registrar (Eval.) the next day on 4th April during the office hours on producing valid identity card issued by the college. For others, the certificate will be sent by Post immediately after the Convocation.

VTU announces VTU Convocation Online Registration of 1st Rank Holders, Gold Medalists and Ph.d. Degree Holders for the 19th Annual Convocation. The First Rank Holders, Gold Medalists and Ph.d. Degree Holders who are eligible to receive their medals, prizes and Certificates during the 19th Annual Convocation of VTU on 8th February 2020 are hereby informed to register for the 19th Annual through web portal at https://convocation.vtu.ac.in

Requirements for VTU Convocation online registration :

1.University Seat Number

2.CGPA ofthe Registrant at the end of final sem for gold medalists and 1st rank holders and Name of the guide as in VTU records for PhD/MSc Engg by research.

3.Passport Size Photo scanned for size less than 40 Kb Kindly furnish all the required information before 6th February 2020.

1.The Second list of Ph.D. Degree holders will be uploaded on 7th February 2020 at 9.00 p.m. The Ph.D. Degree holders who will be listed in the said list are required to register for the convocation immediately.

2.THE REGISTRATION TO CONVOCATION IS ONLY FOR FIRST RANK HOLDER, GOLD MEDALISTS AND PH.D.DEGREE HOLDERS.

The Principals of affiliated engineering college are requested to instruct Rank Holders, Gold Medalists and Ph.D. Degree holders to register.

Steps to Online Registration for 19th Annual Convocation

1.Go the Online Registration for 19th Annual Convocation Portal https://convocation.vtu.ac.in

2.In the below screen select the appropriate course.

3.If you are a gold medalist or a 1st rank holder fro Under graduate course

Select UG, Enter university seat number, name and your CGPA at the end of final sem in the appropriate fields and click on submit to register.

4.If you are a gold medalist or a 1st rank holder from Post graduate course

Select PG, Enter university seat number, name and your CGPA at the end of final sem in the appropriate fields and click on submit to register.

5.If you are a PhD degree holder Select PHD,

Enter university seat number, name and name of the guide as in VTU records for PhD in the appropriate fields and click on submit to register.

6.If you are a MSc Engg by research degree holder Select MSC,

Enter university seat number, name and name of the guide as in VTU records for MSc Engg by research in the appropriate fields and click on submit to register.

VTU announces VTU Rank list and Gold Medallists

The First Rank Holders and Gold Medallists will be receiving their degrees from the Chancellor of the University Shri. Vajubhai Vala during the convocation ceremony held on 8th February 2020 at 11.00 a.m.

The other rank holders may collect their degree certificates and rank certificate from the Registrar (Evaluation), VTU after 3.00 p.m.on 8th February 2020.

VTU allows participation of ll Rank holdersand gold medalists in the Convocation provided you confirm your registration. You must register yourself to confirm your participation and send two stamp size photographs duly attested by your Principal.The University will intimate the registration link shortly.

All the candidates who would be participating as well as receiving degrees in person during the 19th Annual Convocation to be held on 8-2-2020 at VTU, Belagavi are required to follow the dress code as mentioned below. This is as per the directions of the University Grants Commission, New Delhi.

1)Girls: White Saree or White Salwar Cameez and Dupatta made of Handloom fabric.

2)Boys: White Shirt with Full Sleeves and White Pant made of Handloom fabric.

Hence, you are hereby requested to bring this circular to the notice of all the concerned candidates of your college and inform them to follow the above guidelines strictly without fail.

VTU will hold the Nineteenth Annual Convocation of VTU on 8th February 2020, at 11:00 a.m. at Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Auditorium of VTU, "Jnana Sangama", Belagavi.

Convocation 2020: Points to note by candidates

• You must wear a white dress or the prescribed dress code and be present in the Auditorium.
• It would be best if you were seated the Auditorium seats half an hour before the convocation.
• Standup when Hon'ble Governor of Karnataka the Chancellor enters the hall and occupies the chair
• Maintain silence and discipline throughout the function.

Degree will be awarded by the Hon'ble Governor of Karnataka, only for Gold Medalists and First Rank Holders in the Under Graduate and Post Graduate Programmes and Ph.D awardees during the academic year 2018-19, at the time of Convocation.

Others who wish to collect the Degree Certificates personally, can collect them from the Office of the Registrar (Eval.) after the Convocation Ceremony on 8th February itself, or on 10th February during the office hours on producing valid identity card issued by the college. For others, the certificate will be sent by Post immediately after the Convocation

VTU will hold the Eighteenth Annual VTU Convocation 2019 on 18th March 2019, at 11 a.m, in the Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Auditorium of VTU, "Jnana Sangama", Belagavi. The awardees of degree are hereby cordially invited to attend the Convocation.
